This web page is designed to briefly explain these laws which are in place to protect you, your property, and to protect public health and the environment of Marquette County. Notification List for Ordinance and Plan Updates
Marquette County maintains a Comprehensive Plan under Section 66.1001 and Zoning Ordinances under Section 59.69 of Wisconsin State Statutes, which it may wish to update or amend from time to time. Under State law, the County must maintain a list of persons who submit a written or electronic request to receive notice of any proposed change to a comprehensive plan or zoning ordinance that affects the allowable use of the property owned by the person.
This notice is to persons wishing to add their names to this list. If added to such list, the County is required to provide written notice, including a copy or summary of the proposed changes, to all such persons whose property, the allowable use of which, may be affected by the proposed change.
If you wish to be added to such list, please notify the Planning and Zoning Department, P.O. Box 21, Montello, WI 53949 or firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your preferred means of notice. The County may charge each person on the list who receives a notice by 1st class mail a fee that does not exceed the approximate cost of providing the notice to the person.

If you are a licensed service provider and would like to report a servicing event, please contact Dusty at the Zoning office to obtain a username and password. Unlicensed property owners are not eligible to to receive a username and password.
