FEMA to return to Marquette County for 3 additional days

FEMA will be setting up a Disaster Recovery Center at the Montello Municipal Building (City Hall) for citizens and businesses affected by the fall storm. Citizens are encouraged to go and speak with FEMA and other representatives about different programs and benefits that they may be eligible for. The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will be set up at City Hall on Nov. 17, 19, and 20. They will not be open on Nov. 18. Hours of the DRC will be 9am-6pm.
It is important that citizens seeking benefits register with FEMA by the deadline of December 17th, 2018. We urge our citizens to utilize both the Disaster Assistance teams going door to door, as well as, the many agencies represented at the Disaster Recovery Center. Citizens with any questions or concerns can always call the Marquette County Emergency Management Office at 608-297-3022. Residents are also encouraged to look for more information on the Marquette County Website and on Facebook.
